He was living in my home-My story
Friday, February 29th, 2008I woke up one morning to the police knocking in my bedroom door and my, now, EX-fiance was taken to jail. He had victimized me and had numerous credit cards in my name. He had also defrauded my roommate of over $50,000.00 including a $26,000.00 car.
Life was bliss and I couldn’t wait to [...]

A Big Problem
Sunday, February 24th, 2008I believe the credit card companies are aiding and abetting the identity thieves and need to be held accountable… you probably know the most popular customers of credit card companies are those who can only pay their minimum monthly payments. This is where the banks make the most profit. The heart of the banks profits [...]
THANK every cashier who checks ID
Saturday, February 23rd, 2008I make it a point to thank every single cashier who checks ID when I use my credit card.
I THINK WE ALL SHOULD!!!
Cashiers should no longer be kept reluctant to check IDs for fear of customer annoyance, simply because no one thanks them for checking!!

Corporation’s Inadequacy leads to identity theft…
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008Seems to me like even more progress could be made (stopping identity theft, or at least its devastating effects) by holding responsible those agencies that open accounts fraudulently. Websites [government run or otherwise] that post “public” records online, are only making it easier for people to access such records from anywhere in the world. I [...]
The Fastest Growing Crime
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008Did you know 80,000 people become victims of identity theft everyday? Did you know it has been the fastest growing crime for 8 years now? Did you know very little is being done about it and if you are a victim you will be on your own spending hours, months, years cleaning up the mess?
I’m [...]
Institutionalized Corporate Complicity
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008A big part of the problem is that there appears to be either a widespread denial, or a “who cares?” attitude, on the part of big companies & corporations, that identity theft is a crime that affects victims, sometimes for life. I long ago gave up contacting Yahoo!’s “fraud” folks ’cause they never followed [...]

Kansas District Court in Wichita Kansas allowed someone to present themselves as me and get "good faith and credit"
Monday, February 4th, 2008I am living like the Taliban in Las Vegas, NV, after 9/11, when I left Wichita, Kansas, to save my life. I had been in a car wreck, when I rolled 20 times, no brakes or steering, June 2, 2001. The “law” wouldn’t even investigate. Two years later when I had to go back and [...]
