recent check forgery

The forged checks continue to come in and now total over $3000. Fortunately, nothing else has been out of order for us. It amazes me that these stores in Minnesota do such a poor job of verifying a check. This thief had forged checks with our names, addresses and account information on them, an Alabama driver’s license with a different address than that on the checks, and different phone numbers on each check. And believe me, the picture on the Alabama driver’s license does not resemble my husband. The thief is black and we are white. The police department in charge of our case said the driver’s license this guy used is entirely fake as the thief is from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I hope he has a jury trial as I want to be present.

fight back
keep fighting do not give up. It is up to all of us to see that they get the theif. It is also amazing how little any one wants to do. Please just keep bugging the police any one. tell your story to all
